Billycart has won the One Pool Trophy at Flemington, with veteran Horsham jockey Dean Yendall riding the winner.

Mister Whiskers looked set for the win after getting a “saloon passage” into the lead in the straight, but Billycart overtook him.

“I just started riding him and we’ve a pretty good strike rate – we are two from two,” Yendall told Nine.

“The world is her oyster, there is a lot more to come for her.”

It was a first win at Flemington for trainer Taige Weir, who was absolutely thrilled. You can see just how emotional the moment was in this video.
