Active shooter opens fire at San Diego Islamic Center, cops say
An active shooter has been reported at a mosque in San Diego.
The shooter opened fire at the Islamic Center of San Diego around 11:40am PT on Monday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.
They said the shooting is ongoing. It is unclear if anyone has been injured.
Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area, and have shut down parts of Interstate 805 due to police activity, according to ABC 10News.
