Amit Shah hails BSF role During Op Sindoor

New Delhi: Union home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday praised the Border Security Force (BSF) for their frontline role during Operation Sindoor and for responding strongly to Pakistani action whenever required.

Speaking at the Sanchu Border Outpost in Rajasthan’s Bikaner sector along the India-Pakistan border, Shah said the force played a crucial role in boosting public confidence in sensitive border regions during the operation.

Addressing BSF personnel stationed at the outpost, Shah said the force upheld its long-standing tradition of defending the nation under difficult circumstances and ensured that residents living near the international border did not lose their morale during heightened tensions.

“Wherever the BSF took charge, they stood firm. BSF also made a huge contribution in maintaining the morale of the citizens of border districts, and wherever needed, BSF personnel also gave a befitting reply to Pakistan, which has always been your tradition,” Shah told the personnel.

He underlined the historical importance of the Sanchu Border Outpost, calling it a site deeply connected with India’s military history. He said the post occupies a respected place in the legacy of India’s border defence operations and expressed pride in interacting with personnel deployed there.
