Ariana Grande‘s mother, Joan Grande, has shared a sweet message of support to her superstar daughter ahead of her incoming break from the spotlight.
On Monday, representatives for Grande confirmed the singer will “step back from visibility” following the completion of the Eternal Sunshine Tour due to “ongoing, public scrutiny”.
The announcement left fans shook, especially as it came on the heels off her recent project, Petal, alongside a music video for its title track.
While the singer remained silent on the heartbreaking announcement, Grande did share behind-the-scene snippets of the shoot on Instagram.
Alongside the fans and friends who’ve flooded the post with support — especially since it came after the announcement of her hiatus — her mother, Joan, also gave her some love.
“You are magnificent… and this video is incredible!” Joan wrote.
“I love it and I love you more!!!”

As Grande’s impending prolonged break from fame continues to keep the internet ablaze, emotional videos of the singer during the earlier dates of her Eternal Sunshine Tour have begun to surface.
One video in particular features “The Way” songstress tearing up as she thanked her fans for support.
“Thank you so much for being such a loving presence in my life,” she said.
“I love my friends so much.”
According to news.com.au, this video was filmed in June during one of her gigs in Los Angeles. However, fans have republished the video following the news of her hiatus.
“We love her but we also want her to be okay,” one fan wrote.
“She’s so pure. We don’t deserve her,” another penned.
“It hurts so much to watch this, hope this isn’t a real goodbye because it feels really heavy,” wrote a third.
Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour will wrap on September 1 in London. Aligning with the hiatus, a spokesperson for Empire Street Productions confirmed to the Press Association that Grande has taken a step back from her West End debut with Sunday in the Park with George.
“We know this cannot have been an easy decision, and she makes it with our complete understanding and support. We wish her nothing but the best. The production will open at the Barbican in summer 2027 as planned, and casting will be announced in due course,” the spokesperson said.
