Arsenal star Leandro Trossard’s split from wife confirmed as she reveals pair have been ‘separated for some time’ after removing ALL images of him from her Instagram

Arsenal star Leandro Trossard and his wife Laura Hilvern have split after nearly 13 years together.

Hilvern, 33, confirmed on Instagram on Tuesday evening that the pair have been ‘separated for some time’ after she removed a raft of images with the footballer from her social media profile.

Confirming their separation, she wrote: ‘With deep love, care, and respect for one another, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to separate amicably.

‘This was not a choice made lightly. In fact we have been separated for some time now, and during that period we have taken the space and time needed to navigate this privately and thoughtfully.

‘Our decision comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire to create the healthiest and happiest future for everyone involved.

‘Most importantly, we are and always will be devoted parents to our two beautiful children.

‘We kindly ask for compassion, understanding, and privacy during this deeply personal transition.

‘With love, Laura.’

The couple married in June 2019, and have two children together – one born in April 2017, and the other in January 2023, but Laura has not posted a picture on Instagram with her wedding ring since December 2025.

They had been together throughout Leandro’s football career, which he took to new heights when he signed for Premier League club Brighton in 2019.

In 2023, meanwhile, he moved to Arsenal for £27million in the biggest move of his career. He has scored 36 goals in 172 games for the Gunners and is chasing historic success this season.

The Belgian scored the all-important goal as Arsenal took a huge step towards the Premier League title by beating West Ham on Sunday.

The Gunners are next in action on Monday night when they face relegated Burnley at home.
