Beau Lamarre-Condon describes the moment he shot Jesse Baird in the chest, killing him

Lamarre-Condon has been taken to the day his alleged victims died.
‘I wanted to be 110 percent certain, like I was going into that house to get my stuff, that no-one was home,’ he said.
The court heard he watched as Baird’s housemates left his home, telling the jury he believed Baird was already out.
Lamarre-Condon claimed he had been concerned Baird would get an intervention order placed on him if he came to the house ‘because Jesse told me please refrain from contacting me,’ he said.
He told the court he parked his car and noticed an Uber Eats rider nearby.
Not wanting to leave his police-issued gun in the car, he took it with him.
‘If someone broke into in my car and stole my gun, I’d be in a lot of s***,’ he said.
Enroute to the cafe Lamarre-Condon said he swiped the Uber Eats rider’s gear.
Breaking down yet again into tears, Lamarre-Condon outlined his plan.
‘I had the thought process off, If I was to put on this helmet, a motorcycle outfit, and look like a delivery driver, I could knock on Jesse’s door, and if he answered the door, he wouldn’t be able to see my face,’ he said.
‘I would look like an Uber Eats driver, and that way, I couldn’t be falsely accused of harassment … I could just say wrong address walk away without any verbal argument or confrontation with Jesse.
‘And if he wasn’t home, I could enter with a spare key that he got cut for me and go in and get my belongings.’
