Biden ordered CIA cover-up of his ‘corrupt’ business ties to Ukraine, astonishing secret files show

Joe Biden quashed the release of a CIA memo indicating concerns over his family’s allegedly corrupt business ties to Ukraine, it emerged today.   

CIA Director John Ratcliffe declassified a stunning memo on Wednesday after a review of historical records from Biden’s tenure as vice president.

The ‘top secret’ document, filled with redactions, also highlights how Ukrainian government officials were uneasy about Biden’s visits to the country during the Obama administration.

The dossier details how officials in Kiev privately raged at Biden for coming to their nation to lecture them about corruption while his son Hunter sat on the board of a Ukrainian gas company.

The officials believed that the position held by the VP’s son showed that there was ‘a double-standard’ in the US government regarding corruption in politics.

Included in Ratcliffe’s release is a portion of an email sent which states that then-Vice President Biden ‘would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated’.

The email was signed ‘PDB Briefer.’ PDB stands for the presidential daily briefing, a daily intelligence report regularly compiled for the president by U.S. intelligence agencies.

‘As of mid-December 2015, [redacted] officials within the administration of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expressed bewilderment and disappointment at the 7-8 December 2015 visit of the Vice President of the United States to Kiev, Ukraine,’ the memo states.

‘After the visit, these officials assessed that the Vice President of the United States had come to Kiev almost exclusively to give a generic public speech, and had no intention of discussing substantive matters with Poroshenko or other officials within the Ukrainian government.’

‘Following the visit of the US Vice President, [redacted] officials within the Poroshenko administration privately mused at the U.S. media scrutiny of the alleged ties of the U.S. Vice President’s family to corrupt business practices in Ukraine,’ the document continues.

At the time, Biden was overseeing the administration’s political relationship with Ukraine, and his son, Hunter Biden, was recently appointed to the board of a major Ukrainian energy company, which reportedly resulted in the younger Biden profiting handsomely.

‘These officials viewed the alleged ties of the U.S. Vice President’s family to corruption in Ukraine as evidence of a double-standard within the United States Government towards matters of corruption and political power.’

The memo had the subject line: ‘NON-DISSEMINATED INTEL INFORMATION: Reactions of [REDACTED] Ukrainian Government Officials to the Early December Visit of Senior United States Government Official.’

At Biden’s request, the file was never circulated outside of the CIA.

The House Oversight Committee has concluded that Biden’s family and associates have taken over $20 million from foreign entities since the Democrat became vice president in 2008.

Hunter Biden, the former president’s son, was appointed to the board of Ukrainian energy producer Burisma in 2014, and was given a handsome salary, despite not having any past experience in the sector.

The report states that the intelligence was first collected in 2015 but the document was not created until 2016. 

A senior CIA official told Fox News Digital that Biden’s request, and the CIA granting it, was ‘extremely rare and unusual.’

It was ‘inappropriate to go outside of the intelligence community and inquire with the White House on the dissemination of a particular report for what appears to be political reasons,’ the official added.

Ratcliffe called the newly released records an example of ‘politicization of intelligence.’

Biden’s office did not immediately return the Daily Mail’s request for comment.
