Bondi Beach is rocked by ‘random’ stabbing attack: Victim is rushed to hospital after being ‘knifed in the back’
A man was allegedly randomly attacked by teenagers while at Bondi Beach in Sydney late at night.
NSW Police rushed to Glasgow Avenue, just off the popular tourist spot, after receiving calls about 9.15pm on Friday.
It is understood to have been a random attack on a man, possibly in his 50s, who was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital.
A witness at the scene alleged he was ‘stabbed in the back’ by someone on a bike.
Photographs from the scene show members of the public helping the man as he sat on the ground before paramedics arrived.
The two teenagers, believed to be about 16 years old, have been arrested, police said.
