Casey McLean ruled out of Origin II with quadriceps injury
Casey McLean has been ruled out of Origin II after suffering an injury at training on Saturday morning.
The NSW centre warmed up with the team before going down with a quadriceps tear 15 minutes into the training session in Gosford.
McLean’s injury opens the door for Mark Nawaqanitawase to make his Origin debut, with the Roosters winger named as the team’s 19th man.
NSW are due to travel to Melbourne on Saturday afternoon ahead of game two of the series on Wednesday night.
