‘Devil In Disguise: John Wayne Gacy’ Trailer Sees Gabriel Luna Lead The Charge To Bring Michael Chernus’ Killer Clown Down

Peacock is chronicling the crimes of one of America’s most notorious serial killers in its upcoming true crime series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy.

A trailer released Tuesday sees Gabriel Luna’s Detective Rafael Tovar doing everything he can to bring down Gacy (played by Michael Chernus). He faces a bigger challenge than he even imagined when, after finding the bodies of young men buried underneath Gacy’s home, the most serious charge he stands to face is illegally operating a graveyard.

Determined to put him behind bars for much longer, the state of Illinois must search for more evidence that he committed these murders. Watch the full trailer above.

In addition to the trailer, Peacock also released some additional photos from the upcoming series, including a shot of Greg Bryk and Marin Ireland as Harold and Elizabeth Piest, the parents of Robert Piest, Gacy’s last known victim whose disappearance led authorities to discover the mass graveyard under his home.
