Elon Musk’s scorned baby mama launches incredible defense of controversial Democrat favorite who said America ‘deserved’ 9/11

Elon Musk’s ex has defended controversial left-wing streamer Hasan Piker, calling attacks on him the result of ‘hysteria.’
Ashley St Clair, 28, who shares one-year-old Romulus with the Tesla founder, sat down for an all-encompassing interview with CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan.
She claimed that backlash surrounding Piker, a 35-year-old self-identified Marxist influencer who once said America ‘deserved’ the September 11 terror attacks, is a distraction from what’s happening in progressive politics.
‘There’s all his Hasan hysteria right now,’ St Clair said.
‘Any of these news outlets that are feeding into the Hasan hysteria are playing into a right-wing psy-op to conflate Hasan with the figurehead of the left, and then use him as this smear campaign against what is a very real rise in progressive politics and democratic socialism.’
St Clair, who had a high-profile split from Musk and is now suing X, thinks it’s a waste of time to talk about influencers because they have no institutional power.
‘Don’t you kind of see the problem here is that everyone we’ve spoken about is like podcast and streamers and the onus is not on any politician who’s actually doing anything,’ St Clair said.
‘I think the way that people have badgered these Democrat candidates who are doing a lot of good about Hasan and asking them to denounce him is ridiculous. I think it’s a waste of time.’

Piker is a 35-year-old self-identified Marxist influencer who once said America ‘deserved’ the September 11 terror attacks
Piker has campaigned for or interviewed at least a dozen Democratic political figures running for Congress, most notably Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
His incendiary comments, including that America deserved 9/11, which he later apologized for, have made him a political lightning rod, which at times has concerned the candidates he has campaigned for.
Piker’s shocking comment about 9/11 has even become the subject of Republican attack ads in Michigan against El-Sayed, 41, who is running against Trump-endorsed Mike Rogers, 63.
El-Sayed has defended his relationship with Piker, noting that although he disagrees with some of Piker’s more radical statements about terrorism, he believes Piker’s audience is important to reach.
As a young prominent Democratic socialist, Piker has over three million followers on Twitch and nearly two million subscribers on YouTube and Instagram.
Vice President JD Vance told the Daily Mail that Democrats are afraid to disavow Piker ahead of the midterm elections, adding that the ‘radical left’ is controlling their party.
He called out Piker’s ‘completely insane’ comments, including claims that the United States of America is the ‘top dog in terrorism’ and worse than al Qaeda.
The 35-year-old controversial Twitch streamer has also cited communist China as an economic and political ‘model’ for the United States.

‘This is not a party that’s actually about the American people anymore,’ Vance told the Daily Mail. ‘It really is a party that’s dominated by and controlled by the far-left radical left.’
Vance called Piker’s views ‘straight up Marxism’ with ‘some economic populism’ mixed in.
‘Many other people said things more interestingly well before he did without all the crazy s**t,’ Vance told the Daily Mail.
