And now Haaland has given fans a small glimpse into his trip away with a post on Instagram.

The look prompted quite the response from Haaland’s ex-teammate Jack Grealish, who commented: ‘(four laughing face emojis) best guy in world’
Haaland is far from the first footballer to be seen sporting a Birkin bag however, with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi spotted with the luxury designer accessory.
Only last month Messi, now plying his trade at Inter Miami, arrived to Argentina training carrying a £50,000 Hermes duffel.
And Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice also regularly carries a Birkin akin to that of Haaland by his side when travelling to and from Arsenal games.
When Haaland eventually puts down the bag and returns to the north-west, he’ll face a busy October in which City play seven games in all competitions in just three weeks.

Speaking after City’s most recent victory against Brentford before the international break, Guardiola was full of praise for his side.
He told the BBC: ‘It has been a good month, since the Manchester United game. Many things I like.
‘I know there are things we can do better but they made a fantastic first half, one of the best in many months.
‘Problem is in the Premier League if you don’t score a second and a third they can push more. In the second half they pushed more and they are the team that runs in behind and throw-ins and stuff so it is not easy.
‘We are there. Our game is better and better.’
