Grammy-winning producer Jack Antonoff has sparked rumours of a split with his wife, Margaret Qualley, after Swifties failed to spot her at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding over the weekend.
In case you’ve been out and about, the entertainment world has been buzzing over the nuptials of Taylor and Travis, with fans dubbing it “America’s Royal Wedding”.
Although it’s already been a couple of days since the pair officially tied the knot at New York City’s romantic capital — Madison Square Garden — pop culture fiends cannot get enough of the gossip oozing from the event.
In the latest round of boiling Taylor Swift wedding tea, fans have begun to speculate that Jack Antonoff — longtime friend and collaborator of Swift — has called it quits with his wife and beloved actress, Margaret Qualley.
How did the Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley break-up rumours start?
Whispers of a potential split between the entertainment power couple first kicked off when fans noticed she was absent from the wedding.
But the rumours took a whole new level when legendary gossip sleuth Deuxmoi shared a post on the rumours, citing that one source spotted the actress in New York during Tay Tay’s nuptials.
“Per a source: ‘She was in Kingston, NY. I sat near her at a restaurant in town on Friday night. She was with her friend and dog,’” Deuxmoi wrote in an update to their OG post.
Fans on X (formerly Twitter) also noticed that The Substance star deleted photos with the producer on IG.
So, did Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley break up?
Neither party has addressed the buzz surrounding their relationship status. However, it’s worth noting that Margaret is currently working on a Jeff Nichols horror movie in Arkansas called King Snake, per Deadline.
Earlier this year, Jack’s love life — specifically his history with Lena Dunham, who was also in attendance at Taylor and Travis’ wedding — was shot into the limelight following the publication of Lena’s book, Famesick.
In the book, Lena admitted to cheating on Jack while he grew close to a “teen pop star I was too oblivious to be jealous of”. The Girls creator claimed the producer was once “ensconced” in a studio with the teen star, who she claimed called her “Aunt Lena”.
“One day I returned home to find her sprawled across our sectional couch, weeping into Jack’s lap as he told her that ‘your teens are for experimenting’ in a tone so comforting, it almost brought tears to my eyes,” she wrote.
And, if you’re not clued in on this tea, the teen pop star is said to be Lorde of Pure Heroine fame.
So, as the saying goes, all roads lead back to Swift… I mean Rome or whatever.
