Farmer Wants A Wife’s Jarrad Casaretto and Brodie Anderson have finally set the record straight on their current relationship status after filming the reality show.
Despite putting on a loved-up display in Sunday night’s reunion episode, the pair confirmed in a joint statement to PEDESTRIAN.TV on Wednesday morning that they’re no longer together.
“Following the end of Farmer Wants A Wife, there’s naturally been interest in our relationship status. While we’re not together at this time, we remain an important part of each other’s lives and have a great deal of respect and care for one another,” they said.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the experience we shared and for everyone’s support throughout our journey.”
Considering the couple were talking about marriage and kids on the show, the statement and specification of not being together “at this time” is definitely interesting…
The confirmation comes after fans noticed a suspicious detail on Jarrad’s social media that hinted at a potential breakup. Interestingly, the almond farmer and father-of-two had been using the hashtags ‘single’ and ‘single life’ on TikTok videos shared between January and July.
It’s unknown exactly when Jarrad and Brodie broke up, but considering the reunion episode was filmed in January and he began using the hashtags on January 16, it seems likely they called it quits not long after filming wrapped.

Jarrad’s announcement leaves just one couple from this year’s season still together: Zac Kuiper and Maya Bini.
Alex Thompson-Welch and Eddy Fry announced at the reunion that they had split shortly after filming the show, and fan favourites Dylan Scarborough and Ally Horsburgh confirmed after the episode aired that they had also broken up.
Meanwhile, Poppy Victoria revealed that she had ended things with Jason Tessman over the phone not long after the reunion took place, although they disagreed about the exact timeline of the breakup.
It’s a disappointing result for what’s often described as Australia’s most successful dating show, but hey, there’s always next season!
