Father of AFL star Beau McCreery suffers embarrassing gaffe when he publicly propositions Annie Knight
Scott McCreery, the father of Collingwood premiership player Beau McCreery, suffered an embarrassing gaffe this week when he publicly hit on Annie Knight.
The father-of-two was caught boldly propositioning the influencer, 29, online when he commented a raunchy message beneath one of her posts.
Seemingly mistaking it for a private message, Scott told the social media star he wanted to ‘give her a go’ in an awkward greeting.
‘Hi Annie I’m in Adelaide SA I would love to give you a go. How do I go about seeing you? Hopefully I hear from you,’ he commented on her Instagram account.
When contacted by the Herald Sun, Scott said he wrote the comment on ‘a whim’.
It comes just a few months ahead of Annie’s wedding to Henry Brayshaw, son of AFL commentator James Brayshaw.

The happy couple, who have been friends for several years, got engaged in March 2025 – just one week after rekindling their relationship.
Henry popped the question over a romantic dinner in Beverly Hills during a trip to LA.
Sparing no expense, Henry proposed to Annie with a three-carat diamond, which the Daily Mail revealed earlier this year is worth up to $200,000.
The enormous oval cut stone takes up almost the width of Annie’s finger and is set on an elegant gold band.
Austen & Blake jewellery expert Tony French exclusively told Daily Mail: ‘a natural diamond of this carat could cost anywhere between $140,000-$200,000.’
Following their wedding, Annie has also revealed that a baby is on the cards for the couple’s future.
She made a candid confession about her baby plans in December when she appeared on the One Night with Steiny podcast.
‘I want to have kids eventually, for sure,’ she said, before sharing how she plans on raising her children.

‘I’m going to raise my kids the way I was, that you don’t judge people. Don’t waste your life judging people.’
‘If you don’t like what I do, that’s fine. But there is no need to hate on other people,’ she continued.
Meanwhile, Annie revealed in October last year that Henry is estranged from his famous father.
‘To be honest with you, Henry and James don’t really have much of a relationship,’ she said on Saucy Secrets with Jana Hocking when asked how James reacted to their recent engagement.
‘So, he wasn’t sort of part of the process at all. But the rest of Henry’s family are super supportive, so that’s all we care about.’
