Fears for Midwest boy, 7, last seen with pregnant mother who is said to be suicidal

An urgent search has been launched for a missing seven-year-old Missouri boy who was last seen with his pregnant mother who is said to be suicidal.

Dylan Fernando Zendejas-Gonzalez was last seen leaving his home on Spencer Avenue in Overland, Missouri, at noon on Sunday. 

Authorities say his mother Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez-Sanchez is believed to be suffering a severe mental health crisis, reports FirstAlert4. 

Gonzalez-Sanchez is reportedly three months pregnant. 

Personal belongings were found to have been left behind by the mother and son, police said.

A large scale search effort has been deployed across the Midwest, and authorities have asked anyone with information as to their whereabouts to come forward.
