Urgent recall of frozen chocolate-coated dessert sold at IGA, Woolworths and Harris Farm

A popular frozen snack has been urgently recalled from major supermarkets over fears it may cause illness or injury
Four flavours of Bomberry’s chocolate-coated berries have been removed from Woolworths, IGA, Harris Farm and Drakes supermarkets nationally.
Food Standards Australia New Zealand issued an alert confirming that the treats were pulled from shelves due to the presence of foreign matter (metal).
The four products included in the recall are Blueberries + Belgian Chocolate: Dark Chocolate and White & Milk Chocolate, and Raspberries + Belgian Chocolate: White & Dark Chocolate and White & Milk Chocolate.
All best-before dates up to and including January 20, 2028 are affected.
Shoppers are advised not to consume the Bomberry chocolates because they could contain metal that may cause illness or injury if consumed.
Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The recall comes just days after Aldi Australia’s Farmdale Full Cream Long Life Milk was removed from shelves at Aldi stores and online in Victoria, South Australia and two NSW locations – Albury and Lavington.
Food Standards Australia New Zealand confirmed the 1L milk was recalled due to microbial contamination, which can cause spoilage.
The milk carton with the best-before date of June 5, 2027 is affected.
Shoppers are advised not to consume the milk because spoiled food items may lead to illness or injury if consumed.
