Fox host Colin Cowherd launches into bizarre conspiracy theory rant about ‘government secrets’ live on air
Popular radio host Colin Cowherd offered a wild conspiracy theory about UFOs and the US government during a bizarre conversation with ex-NFL star Chris Long.
Cowherd, who hosts The Herd on Fox Sports Radio, was discussing the latest injury crisis engulfing the San Francisco 49ers when conversation turned to China and even aliens.
The 49ers have nearly a dozen players on their latest injury report, including defensive star Nick Bosa and wide receiver Mike Evans.
Kyle Shanahan’s team has been blighted by injury in recent years, sparking unfounded theories that the electrical substation next to the 49ers facility is to blame.
On this week’s show, Long was jokingly discussing the electrical substation when Cowherd moved the conversation on to UFOs.
‘Did you watch Age of Disclosure, the documentary?’ he asked the two-time Super Bowl winner. ‘That is the best doc on UFOs – it was the one thing that flipped me. But here’s why I’ve always been cynical.

‘Because I used to work as a sports guy in Las Vegas and for about five years in Vegas, there were all these UFO sightings and then we found out it was the stealth (B-2 Spirit stealth bomber).
‘So, my take is: our government has a history of doing things, of manufacturing things, they’re just not telling anybody. And China’s ahead of us on so many different things.’
Cowherd did not go into more detail but Long tried to reassure his host, insisting: ‘You don’t have to worry about it because if there is an alien planet out there that has the technology to come check out earth, they probably could wipe us out immediately if they wanted to.
‘They’re not doing it. They’re here on safari, they’re just doing fly-byes. You don’t have to worry about it.’
