Zach Bryan has officially moved on from his messy breakup with Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia by going Instagram-official with Australian model Hannah Duncan.
The country singer shared a photo of Duncan on his Instagram Stories, captioning it, “nothing like a 6 am half marathon ehh? @hannduncan”. This comes nearly five months after Zach and Brianna’s split in October 2024.
To recap, Zach and Brianna’s relationship was a whirlwind of drama. They met at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023 and were officially dating by July of that year.
Things took a turn when Zach announced their split on Instagram, leaving Brianna feeling blindsided. She expressed her shock, saying, “Hey guys I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately”.
Brianna later shared more about their breakup on her podcast, accusing Zach of emotional abuse and revealing that he offered her $12 million and a house to keep quiet about their relationship.
She stated, “The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude… I will not accept any money. I think that’s beneath me. I don’t think you can pay people off that you hurt for them to protect you”.
She also described Zach’s relationship style as “build you up, beat you down, apologise over and over”.
Now, it seems Zach has found someone new. Hannah Duncan and the singer were first spotted on dates in New York City, including a visit to an Australian pub and a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, as reported by Page Six.
Meanwhile, Brianna has been focusing on her own journey, recently contemplating dating women exclusively after their breakup. In January, she claimed she was now “fully a lesbian” following their messy breakup on the BFFs Podcast.
There hasn’t been any news of Brianna being spotted with a new partner, as she’s prioritizing self-growth and reflection, planning to stay single until at least summer 2025.
It’s clear Zach is moving forward, and we’ll see how this new relationship unfolds. For now, it looks like he’s enjoying the sunrise with his new flame.
