Incredible moment pack of dogs rescue women from pervert who tried to sexually assault them in Melbourne
A suspected sex attacker remains on the run after a pack of dogs raced to the aid of their female owners during a morning walk in Melbourne’s south-east.
Extraordinary footage has emerged of the dramatic rescue following the attack in broad daylight at Kooyong’s Righetti Oval on Tuesday morning.
Two women were walking along Gardiners Creek with their dogs when they were ambushed by a man who leapt from the bushes and grabbed one of them.
After she broke free, the man targeted the second woman, who also managed to fight him off.
The women’s dogs then turned on the attacker, forcing him to flee into a tunnel beneath the Monash Freeway.
Footage filmed by one of the women showed six dogs chasing the man
A small blue healer managed to jump up and latch onto the man’s leg, causing a rip in his pants.
The man eventually managed to escape and remains on the run.

The man is described of being of African appearance, wearing a black tracksuit, grey hooded top, white socks and slides, and carrying a large bright blue backpack.
