A big ol’ rumour is swirling around that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham are feuding with the rest of the Beckham brood.
It kicked off after the couple skipped the Met Gala to fly to London to seemingly go to David Beckham‘s 50th birthday bash — only to skip it, with insiders dishing some serious tea about the family’s rocky dynamic. They alleged that the family has beef after Brooklyn’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, started dating his younger brother, Romeo.
However, Brooklyn’s ex-girlfriend and Summer House star Lexi Wood has opened up about her experience with the Beckhams and their family’s dynamic, claiming that they’re actually a very lovely, tight-knit family.
Speaking to Nick Viall on The Viall Files podcast, Lexi — who dated Brooklyn for a little over a year in 2018 — reflected on her experience with famous families that she’s been around and said that she held the Beckhams in high regard.
“It’s so funny because those are the types of families that I’m used to,” she said.
“Like, families that are in the industry that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like, that are so close, travel together, live together. They do so much together because they understand the mindset that your family has your back, period.
“Those families are great and lovely.”
During the interview, Nick also asked Lexi the question we were all thinking: “How does it feel to date someone whose dad is, like, kind of a daddy?”
Kudos to Miss Wood because she only had respectful things to say.
“I feel like he was just always Brookyln’s dad,” she said, noting that she “didn’t think anything” of his fame (or exceptionally blessed genetics).
“They’re a beautiful family. Victoria, she’s the style icon. They’re the coolest family.”
Gossip guru Deuxmoi also dished on the rumoured Beckham family feud on her podcast Deux X, weighing in on whether her loyal legion of spies had any intel. She said she’d received an unverified tip that Kim was indeed causing stress within the family.
“On February 21, I received a DM that this story was gonna drop. [The DM said] there were two brothers that weren’t speaking and are in a fight over a woman,” Deuxmoi said.
She noted the person didn’t give her any further identifying information, she said she pieced it together when she saw the breaking headline about the Beckham boys by TMZ in April. Although she can’t completely verify the information, Deuxmoi says she believes the person who wrote to her back in February.
“This person says, ‘I have it on good authority that Romeo Beckham’s middle child of David and Posh Spice, new girlfriend night might not be in the relationship for the right reasons’,” Deuxmoi continued.
“She tried to aggressively get with her older brother, Brooklyn, while in high school, and when her advances failed, she went after Romeo. Coincidentally, she has a history of trying to date into famous families, and previously also dated another Nepo baby from pop diva fame, before bouncing around the Beckham boys.’ So there you have it. Yes, I think it’s true based on this information.”
Obviously, this is unverified information and super cynical intel at that. Although, call me petty but if my ex started dating my brother I think I’d be pretty pissed too — even if I had moved on with a gorgeous wife.
