A lawyer representing Justin Baldoni in the director’s upcoming trial with Blake Lively has dared the actress to “livestream” her testimony, in New York City’s Madison Square Garden of all places.
“If Blake Lively is really serious about testifying for the world to see, let’s live stream it in Madison Square Garden and give the money to the domestic violence survivors,” Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, told TMZ.
Sources close to Lively have told TMZ that she sees the legal battle as a “serious matter about a serious allegation”, and not as a publicity stunt.

Freedman also told PEOPLE that he wants Lively to make her testimony “count”.
“Since Ms. Lively is open to testifying, let’s make it count. Hold the deposition at [Madison Square Garden], sell tickets or stream it, and donate every dollar to organizations helping victims of domestic abuse.” he told the outlet.
Freedman’s dare comes after the news that Lively will testify against Baldoni, per Lively’s attorney Mike Gottlieb.
“Yes,” Gottlieb told PEOPLE when asked if Lively will testify under oath.
“The ultimate moment for a plaintiff’s story to be told is at trial. We expect that to be the case here.
“So we would, of course, expect her to be a witness at her trial. Of course she’s going to testify.”

In the same interview with PEOPLE, Gottlieb also revealed that Lively will not be the only individual stepping forward to testify against Baldoni.
“There are individuals that were witnesses to or experienced misconduct that is relevant to Ms. Lively’s claims,” Gottlieb said.
“We expect their testimony, particularly about what took place on set, will come out through live witness testimony.”
Baldoni and Lively will face each other in court on March 9, 2026. Their ongoing legal battle stems from the production of the 2024 film, It Ends With Us. The film starred Lively and Baldoni in the main roles, and Baldoni also directed the film.
Lively filed a federal lawsuit against Baldoni on December 31, 2024, alleging that Baldoni created a hostile work environment, sexually harassed her, and made inappropriate comments.
Baldoni has since denied Lively’s claims, and counter-sued Lively and his ex-publicist on grounds of defamation on January 16 this year.
