Tonight, the Journalists Syndicate witnessed a day of solidarity to support male and female journalists in the Darfur region, and to denounce the serious violations they are exposed to during the ongoing war there.
The day began with a minute’s silence for the lives of civilians who were martyred in the Sudanese city of El Fasher. Live testimonies were presented, revealing the extent of the humanitarian deterioration in the city, and a Sudanese journalist presented recordings showing the camps for the displaced in extreme conditions.
