Lindsay Clancy sobbed and put her head in her hands as her ex-husband’s 911 call was played in court.
Patrick called 911 and reported that his wife tried to commit suicide.
He spoke in a panicked voice, speaking over the dispatcher as he told Lindsay to stay awake.
Patrick told Lindsay, ‘Open your eyes,’ as her sobs are heard in the background of the call.
At least two members of the jury began crying as the call was played, and Lindsay’s parents kept their heads down.
Lindsay hunched over in her wheelchair and covered her face as she started to cry in the courtroom.
On the call, Patrick repeatedly told Lindsay to ‘Say my name,’ as she was heard moaning on the call.
When the first responders arrived, Patrick told them ‘right here.’
‘I need you to stay here while I go check on my kids,’ Patrick told the responder.
His footsteps are heard on the audio as he entered the house, then he let out a guttural scream and started to wail as he discovered the children in the basement.
‘She killed the kids,’ Patrick said.
