Logan Paul has opened up about how his dad Greg would get ‘physical’ when disciplining him and his brother Jake Paul as children.
The 30-year-old influencer and professional wrestler got candid about his childhood in his new HBO Max series Paul American as he talked about the prospect of becoming a father himself.
The frank scenes were filmed before Logan and his fiancée Nina Agdal welcomed their daughter, Esmé Paul, last September.
Speaking in the latest episode of the docuseries, Logan said: ‘I think this baby will change me. I’m really hoping that this changes [my dad] Greg.
‘Jake and I both did have our struggles in our childhood. The s**t that was happening inside the house…
‘Yeah man, my dad was physical with us. Like, he would discipline us by being physical.’
Greg, however, declared in the show that he was ‘a great dad’ and hit out at kids today for being ‘spoiled.’
‘If you look at kids today, they’re a bunch of spoiled little f**ks,’ he said.

‘They think they should own the world and they haven’t done s**t. The world’s falling apart because parents don’t know [how] to be parents.
‘I think I was a great dad. But when I found out I was gonna be a grandpa, it’s a different kind of joy and fun for me. My thought was I’m gonna turn this little kid into a savage more than Logan will.’
Viewers were stunned by Logan’s admission, with one noting that there was ‘a lot to unpack’ in the episode
Taking to X, they said: ‘There’s so much to unpack with just this small clip, like you can already feel their relationship without the two of them even speaking to each other.’
‘Getting physical with your kids is not being a good parent, it’s a cop-out for real parenting,’ another commented.
A third reacted: ‘Just hearing this, I instantly get why they act the way they do.’
‘This 45 second clip tells me exactly why the Paul brothers were such extreme attention seekers,’ another wrote.

Paul American began streaming weekly from March 27.
Brothers Jake and Logan both described their new series as ‘raw’ and ‘unfiltered.’
‘It isn’t just about the headlines or the viral moments – it’s about the journey that got us here,’ they said.
‘For the first time, our fans will get to see the real people who shape our lives: our mom, dad, Jutta, Nina, and everyone else in our inner circle.
‘As athletes, we’ve poured everything into proving ourselves in the ring and breaking barriers in sports, entertainment, and beyond.
‘But at the core of it all is family and the relationships that keep us grounded. This series dives into the moments that define us and the bonds that make us unstoppable.
‘The good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s real and honest, showing the world a side of us they’ve never seen, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this story with our fans.’
