Lost family rescued after living on bark and flowers for three days | News

Two women and a child were rescued from the woods days after going missing when their tubing trip took a turn for the worse.

Bodycam footage released by Michigan State Police on Monday (10 August) shows rescuers making their way through tall grass near the Muskegon River where they located Jazman Hock, her cousin Sarah Vida, and Sarah’s son Kayden Kovalcik.

The trio were first reported missing three days earlier after a missed dentist appointment.

The trio had struck logs and their inflatable tubes burst, leaving them stranded. They survived on protein bars, flowers, and bark, WWMT reports.
