Lufthansa suspends flights over Ukraine

German air carrier Lufthansa is studying the possibility of taking steps to completely stop flights to the territory of Ukraine.

According to the representative of the company, the company is currently monitoring the situation in Ukraine and is ready to take action, taking into account the development of the situation.

“The possibility of suspending the provision of services is being considered. But no decision has yet been taken.

Earlier, Dutch airline KLM suspended flights to Ukraine.

It became known that the world’s largest insurers are preparing to announce, on Monday, February 14, that they will not cover insurance events for airlines when flying over Ukraine.

And the plane of the Ukrainian airline SkyUp received a ban from its lessor to cross the airspace of Ukraine. The council had to boycott the flight from Madeira (Portugal) to Ukrainian Boryspil.
