MAFS’ Gia Reveals Surprise Text From Stella After Split From Filip
It’s been a huge week for the Married At First Sight 2026 cast, with controversial bride Gia Fleur revealing her pregnancy at the same time golden couple Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov confirmed their split.
Yet despite the mixed emotions — and their messy history — the joint announcements have surprisingly brought Gia and Stella closer together.
In case you forgot about their drama as soon as MAFS ended, the pair butted heads at the second Dinner Party of the season when Gia told Stella to “get back in [her] kennel” — supposedly because Stella had called Gia a “dog” off-camera.
The drama continued post-show when Stella told PEDESTRIAN.TV that Gia wouldn’t be receiving an invite to her (now cancelled) wedding to Filip because she didn’t congratulate them on their engagement at the Reunion, but it seems that’s all in the past now.
Gia reveals surprising text from Stella
Gia admitted to P.TV that she was pleasantly surprised when Stella reached out to her on Monday to congratulate her on her pregnancy, despite her own relationship issues at the time.
“I was happy and shocked to see Stella reach out, considering Chris [Robinson] didn’t,” she said, throwing some light shade on her former bestie.
“She just said congrats and was kind, and I said thank you, and I hope she’s doing ok with the breakup.”
Gia went on to say that, regardless of her clashes with Stella and Filip on the show, she’s “sad” that they’ve ended their engagement
“They seemed so happy, but we never know what goes on behind closed doors. I wish them both all the best on their journeys separately,” she added.
Gia teases upcoming project
Outside of her pregnancy news this week, Gia has also started teasing an upcoming project with Farmer Wants A Wife 2026 “villain” Miranda Chopping. The pair were photographed together in Melbourne on Monday and posted a cryptic video captioned, “Two villains, one microphone”, which fans have interpreted as a potential podcast.
“I was being compared to [Miranda], and she was to me, so I reached out, and we both clicked and have a lot in common, and we are now working on something together that we are really excited for that’s going to change the game and hasn’t been done before!” Gia said.
This comes after Gia was rumoured to be making her return to reality TV as a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice reboot, so don’t expect her to disappear from the spotlight anytime soon.
