Man United fans rage after spotting one of their players wearing full-length tights in mild temperatures on night they were thrashed 4-1 by Como

Manchester United fans took aim at Noussair Mazraoui’s bizarre decision to wear black leggings during the team’s chastening defeat in Como, with some claiming the full-back’s attire encapsulates the club’s woes.
The Moroccan was part of the Red Devils’ back four that conceded four goals on Wednesday evening as they lost 4-1 at Como in the Champions League.
The manner of the defeat was the latest abject display from Michael Carrick’s side – who are now winless in their last seven matches in all competitions, dating back to a 4-0 victory over Sabah on September 10.
And while United’s fan base are in disarray at how their club’s season is unfolding, many were also left perplexed by Mazraoui’s accessory on the pitch.
The 28-year-old was pictured wearing black leggings during the match, despite temperatures in Como being just 14 degrees Celsius.
‘Mazraoui wearing tights sums it all up games gone,’ wrote one Manchester United fan on X.

‘I knew we were getting hammered when I saw Mazraoui wearing tights,’ commented another on the social-media platform.
Another user wrote: ‘Mazraoui is still hopping around on one leg in the away changing room of an empty stadium trying to get them tights off.’
One United fan made a light-hearted reference to Lisandro Martinez’s public criticisms last week, while discussing Mazraoui.
‘Mick Carrick’s biggest tactical errors tonight were not putting Lisandro on media duties and allowing Mazraoui to wear leggings. Everything else is just noise.’
It’s been a difficult week for Mazraoui who was also scrutinised by many for Leeds’ equaliser during their 1-1 draw on Sunday when he gave away a corner cheaply which led to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goal.
He and United will look to end their winless run on Sunday afternoon when they host Bournemouth in the Premier League.
