Man United suffer transfer blow as Al-Hilal agree £68m deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham

Al-Hilal have agreed a £68million deal with West Ham for winger Crysencio Summerville.

The offer outstrips the £39m plus add-ons tabled by Roma and the Netherlands international has been offered a long-term contract pending his medical.

Final details are being discussed for the 24-year-old but Premier League and European clubs are unlikely to compete with the Saudi offer.

As Daily Mail Sport previously reported, Netherlands international Summerville was on Manchester United’s radar and they held exploratory talks with West Ham.

Summerville joined the Hammers from Leeds for £25m in the summer of 2024 and scored eight goals in 56 games for the club but was unable to help them avoid relegation to the Championship last season.
