Millie, 21, and Jake, 23, got hitched in 2024 after two years of dating. Just months before the wedding, the actress was out here confessing that she knew Jake was her forever person.
“I was interested in him and wanted to know more,” she told The Sunday Times in August 2023 of their first conversation, which took place on Instagram.
“As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
Millie’s always kept it real about wanting a family someday. Back in March, she shared how hyped she was to kick off the next chapter of her life with Jake by her side.
“My mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” Brown said on the Smartless podcast.
“Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
She continued, “And my nan, my grandmother … she was a huge part of my life. And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally. It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ So that was his thing.”
She went on to say that she and Jake — whose dad just happens to be rock legend Jon Bon Jovi — are dreaming of a big fam, since they both grew up in households with three siblings.
“My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family,” Brown said. “I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [than] adopting.”
Congrats cuties!
