PSG v Liverpool LIVE: Team news, line-ups and prediction ahead of crunch Champions League quarter-final

Arne Slot’s message ahead of PSG rematch
Arne Slot insisted Liverpool can draw on their rich history to give them hope in the troubled times of this season and said that every time they fall over, they can get back on their feet.
Liverpool have lost 15 matches in all competitions this season and appear to be huge underdogs for tonight’s tie and was Slot asked how he would give supporters hope ahead of a daunting test.
“The answer lies in the history of Liverpool. In tough moments, they stand up again. We’ve had a lot of tough moments, stood up a few times then fallen down again.
“We have to show that mentality again to keep going and keep picking yourself up after disappointment.”

What is the Liverpool team news?
Liverpool are still without Alisson, so Giorgi Mamardashvili continues to deputise. Jeremie Frimpong could replace Joe Gomez at right back while Alexander Isak has travelled to Paris and could offer Liverpool a boost from the bench by making his first appearance of 2026.
Possible XI: Mamardashvili; Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Wirtz; Ekitike

Good afternoon
Liverpool are in need of another miracle in Paris as they head to the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against PSG.
A year on from Alisson’s saves and Harvey Elliott’s winner, the Reds arrive in France with their season on the line following Saturday’s dismal defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup.
PSG are the Champions League holders and Luis Enrique’s side destroyed Chelsea in the last-16. With the pressure turning up on Arne Slot, can Liverpool avoid their season going from bad to worse?
Can they take something back to Anfield? We’ll have all the build-up between now and 8pm.
