Taylor Swift gives surprise wedding invites to NBA stars who ruined Travis Kelce’s basketball dream
The New York Knicks stars who downed Travis Kelce’s boyhood NBA team will be returning to Madison Square Garden for the power couple’s wedding on Friday, it has been revealed.
Taylor Swift has invited the five starters who propelled the Knicks to NBA championship glory just weeks ago to her and Kelce’s wedding, according to Page Six.
Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart are all set to be there for the ceremony and party in the heart of Manhattan.
Brunson, the biggest Knicks star, has made no secret in the past of being a Swiftie.
The quintet, who are now New York heroes forever, ironically downed Kelce’s beloved Cleveland Cavaliers, his hometown team, on their way to NBA glory in the postseason this year.
Kelce and Swift sat courtside for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs and the Knicks in Cleveland, where the New York team ran out 121-108 winners.

Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce, a passionate fan of all of Cleveland’s other sporting teams, was naturally cheering against the Knicks and desperate to see the Cavaliers win an NBA title.
Swift then returned to MSG to cheer the Knicks on in the finals against the San Antonio Spurs, having one of the best seats in the house as the Knicks overturned a record 29-point lead held by the Spurs.
Kelce was unable to make it that night due to Chiefs practice in Kansas City.
But now they will have a reunion on Friday with the Knicks five on the guestlist for the top-secret event.
Many other stars of sports are expected to be taking a seat for the wedding of the year. Plenty of Kelce’s Chiefs teammates are expected to be in attendance.
SanFrancisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has confirmed that he is invited, too. He revealed the one rule the couple have enforced about their big day.
‘They said absolutely no gifts,’ Kittle revealed last week. ‘But I was thinking Travis, for some reason, likes old coins so I might get him one of those. Sounds expensive.’
