The Egyptian Freedom Party: Hamas’s approval of the Egyptian proposal to calm confirms the historic role of Cairo in mediation
The Egyptian Freedom Party praised the pivotal role played by the Arab Republic of Egypt in supporting the Palestinian issue, stressing that Cairo’s success in reaching a proposed formula to calm and exchange prisoners between Hamas and the Israeli side, reflects again the political and diplomatic weight of Egypt on the regional and international scene, especially in the Middle East. The Egyptian freedom, the Secretary -General and a member of the House of Representatives, that this great effort is an extension of Egypt’s fixed historical positions towards the Palestinian issue, as the Egyptian state spared no effort to do everything necessary to protect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, alleviate its humanitarian suffering, and support its efforts to obtain freedom and establish an independent state. Just a traditional diplomatic effort, but rather an integrated move that combines the human, political and security dimension, its first goal is to inject the blood of innocent people and stop the cycle of violence, and create conditions to open a serious political horizon that achieves security and stability for all the peoples of the region. A settlement related to the Palestinian issue, thanks to its balanced and credible relations with all parties, as well as its constant commitment to international law and relevant international legitimacy decisions.
