The Minister of Endowments and the delegation of the International Holy Quran Competition visited the Grand Museum

Dr. Osama Al-Azhari – Minister of Endowments, today accompanied a delegation of contestants and arbitrators participating in the International Holy Quran Competition in its thirty-second session, on a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, within the framework of the cultural program accompanying the competition organized by the Ministry. To introduce the esteemed guests of Egypt to Egypt’s cultural and historical landmarks.
During the tour, the delegation was introduced to the most prominent exhibition halls and the rare artifacts they contain that document the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization. They also listened to a comprehensive explanation of the museum’s modern display methods and the civilizational and cultural shift it represents that reflects the state’s efforts to preserve its human heritage.
The Minister of Endowments confirmed that Organizing such visits comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to provide Egypt’s guests with a comprehensive picture of its ancient history and extended civilization, and to link the cultural aspect with the advocacy aspect, which contributes to enriching the experience of the participants and deepening their understanding of the Egyptian identity.
The members of the delegation expressed their great admiration for the museum and the archaeological treasures it contains, praising the efforts of the Egyptian state in establishing this global edifice, which is one of the most important and largest museums.
