The Ministry of Health and Population organized a scientific day in conjunction with the International Day for Multiple Sclerosis, which corresponds to the twenty -seventh of May of each year, in cooperation with a number of relevant authorities, and with the participation of a group of professors and neurologists, representatives of medical and academic institutions, and civil society organizations, interested in sponsoring multiple sclerosis patients And their support.

Princess Fatima Academy for Vocational Training, that the training of health service providers is a major axis in supporting the state’s efforts for early diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, noting that the academy attaches special importance to building the capabilities of medical teams from various specializations, with the aim of raising their efficiency in dealing with the symptoms of the disease that may interfere with other diseases, which facilitates early detection and contributes to improving treatment opportunities and reducing complications, and added that the academy is working on Updating training programs to include the latest science in the tools of diagnostic and integrated care, in order to reduce the mental, motor and financial burden on patients and their families, and reduce pressure on the health system.
