The Mufti of the Republic mourns the sister of the Sheikh of Al-Azhar
Dr. Nazir Ayyad – Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World – mourned with great sadness and sorrow the sister of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
His Eminence the Mufti said in a statement: “We ask God – the Most High, the Almighty – to cover her with His vast mercy, and to make her dwell in peace.” His Paradise, and may He grant patience and solace to its family and relatives.
His Eminence the Mufti continued: “As we condole ourselves, His Eminence the Grand Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Al-Tayeb, and all the Al-Tayeb family in this great affliction, we pray to God Almighty, the Almighty, to cover the deceased with His vast comfort.” May His mercy rest upon her in His spacious gardens, and may he inspire her family and loved ones with patience and solace.”
