The View’s Joy Behar blasts Jaxson Dart as ‘stupid and RACIST’ for introducing Trump at MAGA event

The View’s Joy Behar has sparked outrage after labeling New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart ‘stupid’ and ‘racist’ for endorsing President Trump.

Dart is at the center of fierce controversy over his appearance at a MAGA rally in Suffern, New York, where he introduced Trump for a stump speech at Rockland Community College on Friday.

The 23-year-old signal caller has since drawn criticism from one of his Giants teammates in Abdul Carter, who commented on a clip of Dart’s interaction with the president and wrote: ‘Thought this s*** was AI, what we doing man’.

And amid speculation over a potential civil war in the New York locker room, Behar, 83, has taken the criticism of Dart even further by accusing him of being ‘the definition of stupidity and racist’.

Host Whoopi Goldberg, 70, initially said about the NFL player’s interaction with Trump: ‘Isn’t he entitled to his [views]?’

Yet Behar then alleged: ‘For somebody to back a guy like Trump, whose history in discrimination and racism goes back to housing discrimination in the ’70s, DEI attacks, and posting pictures of the Obamas as apes… when he’s on a team that’s 55 to 60 percent of the NFL, that much percentage of black people, that is just the definition of stupidity and racist in my opinion.’

The outspoken co-host was likely referring to the estimated percentage of black or African American athletes in the NFL, which is believed to be at around 55 percent.

Behar then went on to suggest that Dart may ‘need a little extra padding’ on the football field, suggesting he will be targeted more aggressively by opposition players for backing Trump.

Her contentious assessment of the Giants star has ignited fury online, with one user commenting: ‘This c**p has to stop! Stop demonizing people for their beliefs!!’

Another claimed: ‘She might be surprised at how many of those black players might possibly be Trump supporters. But that’s something Joy can’t fathom.’

‘Always talking about race. Always bringing up race. Continuously keeping race an issue when it’s literally not an issue. God for bid people have different opinions. Nasty people,’ a third said about The View’s panel.

While a fourth put: ‘These ladies are ridiculous. They are so out of touch with reality.’

Dart was a shock choice to be given the role of introducing Trump at Rockland Community College north of the city on Friday.

‘I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump,’ the former first-round Draft pick said to the excited crowd.

The President then walked onstage to the tune of Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA’ before hugging Dart, whom he later called a ‘future Hall of Famer’.

During his speech, Trump said a few nice words about Dart’s physical appearance: ‘I’m looking at Jaxson… I’m looking at the legs there. He’s this beautiful guy. He’s got legs like tree trunks. This is not a good thing for women.’

Potential unrest among his players would not be ideal for new Giants head coach John Harbaugh as he prepares for his first season in charge of the team. Both Dart and Carter are expected to be key players if Harbaugh hopes to inspire a turnaround in the team’s fortunes.

Former Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes quickly replied with a defense of Dart in response to Carter’s post.

He wrote: ‘The locker room is a sacred place because it brings together everyone from all walks of life and beliefs for one common goal. Calling a teammate out publicly for his political views and to get attention is nasty work.’
