This Couple Just Won A Free Wedding & Here’s How Planning Is Going

Loved-up couple Bianca and James had slowly been making their way to the altar for three years now. That was until they won a once-in-a-lifetime competition for a wedding planned and paid for by Maltesers and yours truly.

The NSW-based parents of two twin boys have been together for seven years and engaged for three, but were making little progress on the actual wedding planning. The delay in their nuptials was due in large part to the duo’s struggle to finalise decisions for the big day, telling PEDESTRIAN.TV that their ideal wedding became “one [they] didn’t have to plan.”

Of course, decision-making can’t be totally off the table, but rather than making our betrothed choose between their must-have items, we decided to find ways they could have both.

Saying yes to the wedding dress

We sent Bianca and James to try on some outfits for the big day, testing out everything from huge bows to velour suits. Of course, there are still a couple more for Bianca to try, so James hasn’t seen everything yet, but they did manage to find multiple things they loved that shocked even them.

Wedding cake tasting

Trying 13 different cakes, Bianca and James were tasked with picking a favourite, but instead, they set out to create one unorthodox but iconic pairing. Because why have one cake when you can have both?

The wedding ceremony

After seven years together and several mad plans to elope, Bianca and James are finally headed down the aisle. We’re not giving anything away, but it’s safe to say that the ceremony and reception will be a very memorable day for everyone involved.
