‘Tradwife’ influencer Nara Smith reveals daughter, 2, was diagnosed with cancer

Influencer Nara Smith has revealed her toddler daughter was diagnosed with cancer last year.

Smith, 24, who is known for her ‘tradwife’ videos and is married to model Lucky Blue Smith, 28, detailed how daughter Whimsy Lou, now two, underwent chemotherapy after her unspecified form of cancer spread.

‘There’s no easy way to say this but late last year our daughter Whimsy got diagnosed with cancer. When we saw something suspicious on her we took her to the ER and they didn’t quite know what to make of it.

‘We took her to our pediatrician and he went really quiet and calm, my heart dropped in the moment. I don’t know if my gut was telling me something but the first thing I felt was that she had cancer.’

Whimsy underwent tests, X-rays and a biopsy at hospital before her parents were given the heartbreaking news the disease had spread. She had to undergo chemotherapy ‘immediately.’ 

She captioned the video, ‘Thankful for each and every nurse and doctor along our journey who helped us get through and out the other end.’
