Vanessa Trump reveals breast cancer diagnosis

Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of President Trump, has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In a post on Instagram on Wednesday, Ms Trump, who is currently in a relationship with golfer Tiger Woods, said she had undergone a medical procedure earlier this week and thanked her doctors.

The former model, 48, and Donald Trump Jr divorced in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. They have five children.

Ms Trump wrote: “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve been recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.

“I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me.

“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.

“Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express.

“I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”

Commenting on the post, Ivanka Trump wrote: “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”

Vanessa shares five children with her ex-husband, Donald Trump Jr, including golfer Kai Trump. She reportedly met Woods through the golf community in Florida.

Woods was arrested for a DUI earlier this year after he was involved in a rollover car accident while driving in Jupiter Island, Florida.

After the crash, Woods announced he was “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health,” which means he will miss the Masters taking place this month.

“This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery,” Woods said.

“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
