Vicious brawl breaks out among fans at Yankees game as New York star watches chaos unfold from the field

A vicious fight broke out in the stands at Yankee Stadium on Thursday during New York’s game against the Los Angeles Angels.
On a warm afternoon in The Bronx, a fight broke out during the top of the sixth inning of the Yankees’ 11-4 defeat.
Video of the brawl quickly spread on social media and shows a group of unruly fans trading blows.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the second deck down the left field line of the iconic stadium.
The footage shows one man grabbing hold of another by the throat before someone intervened and tackled him to the ground.
Other fans around them couldn’t believe what they were seeing and shouts of ‘oh s***’ can be heard in the background.

Another Yankees supporter, wearing a grey jersey with Gerrit Cole on the back, then unleashed a number of blow.
Fortunately, they didn’t appear to connect with his rival as the scuffle then made its way down the stairs in that section.
Another fan, appearing to be in a red shirt, is then held back towards the end of the video before the fight seemingly peters out.
The incident appeared to catch the eye of Yankees star Cody Bellinger, who was fielding close to the section where it took place. He appeared to look to see what was going on in between pitches.
While there were unsavoury scenes in the stands, Mike Trout made history on the field as the Angeles prevailed on Thursday for a four-game split.
Trout homered for the fifth time during the series on Thursday, crushing a 446-foot drive in the seventh inning for the Angels.
The three-time MVP joined Jimmie Foxx, Darrell Evans and George Bell as the fourth player with five homers in a series against the Yankees, according to MLB research.
Trout homered twice on Monday before going deep again in the following two games.
‘I heard that after the game,’ Trout said. ‘It’s pretty surreal. All the great players that came through here, so it’s pretty cool.’
