White sniper shoots at least three migrants at Dallas ICE facility and kills one before shooting himself dead, police say
At least three people were injured and one was killed at an ICE facility in Dallas before a suspected sniper was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on a nearby rooftop.
The situation unfolded at the Texas facility around 7am on Wednesday morning.
The victims were detainees in ICE custody, and Fox4 reported that one was killed and at least three more were wounded.
Shortly after multiple people were wounded in the shooting, a suspected gunman, described as a white man, was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office.
ICE Director Todd Lyons confirmed that the shooter is ‘down’, and the gunman reportedly shot himself as agents approached him.
The status of all those injured in the shooting is not yet clear, however reports say that some were left in critical condition.
Images showed a large police presence descended on the scene.

In a nearby ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas, another attack took place on July 4 where 10 people were arrested for shooting at law enforcement officers.
Armed assailants with tactical gear were charged with terrorism and aggravated assault for the attack, which officials said at the time was intended to disrupt the ICE facility’s operations.
