The timer on MasterChef Australia 2026 is almost up, with one of its 24 home cooks being crowned top dog of Australia’s culinary world. But before the final cook-off begins, here’s who fans reckon will be the MasterChef Australia 2026 winner.

We’re slowly travelling into MasterChef Australia‘s final week, where we get to see our final three battle it out for a year of bragging rights, the golden trophy money shot and $250,000 buck-a-roos.

This year’s final three include Aaron Kher, Petro Papathomas and Vinnie Gibaldi, with all three fighting for a spot in the top two next week.

But as with all reality TV competition shows, fans are already chucking in their two cents on who will win the shebang. So, without further ado, here’s who fans reckon will take on MasterChef Australia status in 2026.

Who is the MasterChef Australia 2026 winner?

Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly who wins MasterChef Australia, as the finale has yet to air. However, in a Reddit post from early July, fans reckon Petro could be waving that trophy around on Sunday, August 9.

“Petro’s growth arc is insane. He has grown so much as a cook. He has shown an increased understanding of flavours. Truly impressive,” one Redditor penned.

“I think Petro is getting the winner edit, but not mad about that either since he showed the most progress,” a third wrote.

“I would be okay if Pat, Petro or Aaron win. They all have been serving good dishes throughout and consistently shown growth,” wrote a third.

A lot of fans also speculated that Casper Kenworthy would also nab that trophy, but unfortunately (spoiler alert), the beloved home cook missed out in the top three after he was eliminated in the latest elimination challenge.

But who knows, maybe this fan-favourite will return for a potential Back To Win spin-off in the future.
