Winter Olympics fans shocked to find out Team GB skier Kirsty Muir’s boyfriend is a Traitors star from the show’s most AWKWARD moment, as she suffers medal heartbreak

Team GB skier Kirsty Muir narrowly missed out on winning the nation’s first Winter Olympic medal on Monday in the women’s freeski slopestyle final on Monday.
And as fans watched her flipping through the air on the television, they were surprised to learn her boyfriend has also been a BBC TV star.
Muir, 21 from Aberdeen, is in a relationship with Matt Harris, who appeared on series one of The Traitors.
And taking to X, some users were shocked at their relationship.
‘Not Kirsty Muir’s boyfriend being Matt from The Traitors,’ wrote one user.
‘Just found out Kirsty Muir’s boyfriend is Matt from series 1 of The Traitors,’ posted another.

Another simply put: ‘Can’t believe Traitors Matt in the Winter Olympics audience.’
Harris was best known on the series for his attraction to fellow player Alex Gray – and bursting into tears when it was revealed she was actually already in a relationship with another player.
Muir and Harris, who is a BMX athlete, content creator and qualified ski instructor, first met in June 2024 when they were both judges for the Red Bull Soapbox Race at London’s Alexandra Palace.
After hitting it off, their first date saw them ignite their competitive juices by going go-karting.
Reflecting on that date, Muir said: ‘I won, and the forfeit was he had to get a tattoo of a snail.’
Harris added: ‘And I hate snails too – I have a real phobia of them.’
Scotland’s Muir scored 76.05 on her final run in the women’s ski slopestyle competition, agonisingly short of the 76.46 of Canadian third-place incumbent Megan Oldham, with just the top ranked two to go.
Fans took to social media platform X to express their shock at Muir and Harris’ relationship

Fourth place will come as a relative disappointment for the 19-year-old Muir, who broke down in tears afterwards, considering she had won the prestigious Aspen X Games two weeks ago with a score of 93.66.
That would have been enough to win Olympic gold with room to spare, with Switzerland’s Mathilde Gremaud retaining her title with a best of 86.96, and Chinese superstar Eileen Gu second on 86.58.
Muir had touched down on her first run and ranked sixth after a relatively safe second run that scored 63.01, with only the best of each athlete’s final runs counting towards their final ranking.
Muir, who made her Olympic debut as a 17-year-old in Beijing, will get another medal chance later in the Games when she competes in the ski Big Air.
