The Russian Foreign Ministry is developing artificial intelligence to analyze foreign policy

The Russian Foreign Ministry planned to develop a conceptual project for a system of big data analysis using artificial intelligence in connection with foreign policy activities. The project is expected to be implemented next year, said Sergei Kiryuchin, the Russian Foreign Minister’s special representative for digital transformation.

“Based on the results of the conceptual design, we will determine the funding of the program, but so far this issue is under discussion,” said Kiryushin.

Kiryuchin added that there are many analytical tasks in foreign policy, as well as units that need such a system at the moment, the problems that the system will have to solve have not been identified.
