Russian TV series will be released on Apple TV + for the first time

 

The series about surrogacy “Container” with Oksana Akinshina in the title role will be the first Russian project on the Apple TV + streaming service.

The show will premiere on Apple TV + in the spring of 2022.

Produced by the Russian video service Start, “Container” joins the growing global line of Apple TV + series, awarded and created by the most creative authors around the world, the press service said.

The series tells the story of 27-year-old Sasha (Oksana Akinshina), who gains a new life through surrogacy. According to the story, during pregnancy, the girl began to live in the house of the official Vadim (Philip Yankovsky) and his wife Marina (Maria Fomina), who is carrying a child for her. This leads to the emergence of many secrets.

The project is directed by Maxim Sveshnikov, the screenwriter and creative producer is Alexey Lyapichev. The show premiered in September of this year on the video service Start.
