Sisi is following up the executive position of a number of projects in the petroleum sector and the plan to deliver natural gas to homes

 

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Eng. Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

The official spokesman for the presidency stated that the meeting dealt with “following up the executive position of a number of projects in the petroleum sector.”

Where the President directed to continue implementing the plan to connect natural gas to domestic housing units, especially in the villages included in the framework of the Dignified Life Initiative, with the aim of facilitating the access of this service to citizens throughout the Republic.

The President also directed to expand the establishment of stations to supply natural gas energy for cars on new roads and axes at the level of the Republic due to their economic, environmental and health returns.

Eng. Tarek El-Mulla reviewed the work and progress of the national project to deliver natural gas to homes, noting that the coming period will witness a qualitative leap in this activity through a decent life initiative.

In this context, he presented the current position of natural gas delivery to the initiative villages, as well as the position of 14 villages that were selected as a pilot project within the initiative, with implementation rates reaching nearly 100%.
