The Scottish government launches a questionnaire to find out the sexual preference of school children

The Scottish government has launched an online questionnaire on the health and well-being of school children. According to the Daily Mail, many people were outraged that questions about the sexuality of 14-year-olds were included in the model.

In particular, children 14 years of age or older will answer the question about the number of sexual contacts, the types of sex and the use of contraceptives. Teens will have to fill out a form, and while they won’t enter a personal first and last name, they will have to enter their social card number. In some cases, survey data can be used to help children.

Conservative local councilors petitioned Edinburgh City Council to remove intimate issues.

“In my opinion, asking young people these kinds of questions in the classroom can raise different concerns about how teens interact with each other and how this might affect bullying,” said counselor Callum Ludlow.
