American generals predict an American civil war in 2024

A Washington Post report indicated that retired US generals Paul Eaton, Antonio Taguba and Stephen Anderson fear civil war in the United States after the presidential election in 2024.

The report stated, “One of the advantages of our military is the diversity of personnel. It is a group of personalities with different beliefs and backgrounds. However, without the constant maintenance of order, the rioting within the armed forces, which reflects discord in society, is quite real.”

They believe that it is precisely these differences that can divide the army into two camps.
According to the generals, the situation with supporters of former President Donald Trump storming the Capitol in January 2021 showed the negative sides of the political and military structures.
They called for the US military to be “purged” of those who do not abide by the constitution and the civilian electoral process.
